The 411

I love the idea of a capsule wardrobe. It's a system that allows you to take a certain amount of individual pieces from your wardrobe (trousers, tops, skirts and dresses) and mix them together to create different looks everytime.

The aim of having a capsule wardrobe is to to never have that 'I have NOTHING to wear' syndrome! The beauty is that you will save yourself money (because you will only need to update every season with new accessorise such as belts, hats and scarves).

As much as I love the idea of the capsule wadrobe I myself would find it very difficult.
My friends always comment on how big my wardrobe is and how addicted I am to shopping--but that's another post completely.

Below are 12 pieces that I have chosen. Everything suits my bodyshape and everything falls in to my taste. Notice how only 2 items have a pattern, this is to create some interest but they also go with everything else very well :)

Bottoms:
1. Straight Cut Jeans in a dark wash (not black)
2. Black Legging5
3. Navy Skirt

Tops:
4. Striped long tunic top
5. White V-Neck
6. Cream Cardiga6
7. Black Blazer
8. Navy Dress
9. Camel Blazer

Footware
10. Comfy Flats (I chose beige but black or navy would work fine too!)
11. Boots (for the ever-changing weather in the UK!)
12. Comfy high-heels

I will post some outfit ideas in the next post!
Do you like the idea of a capsule wardrobe? Have you ever tried it?
I'd love to hear your comments!
