Something not everyone can relate to but still though-provoking.
Sad that things like this are still happening :(

Cramps? Maybe this will help
Weir subject to talk about but hey I feel like sharing :)
I've had the joy of mother nature's monthly visit since I was about 13.
I had always had the worst pain and heaviest flow, something which apparently
I had inherited from mu mummy (thanks mum!).
I was about 19 when I was going through a really bad patch, of excruciating pain due to
my monthlies. I was missing school, didn't want to go out and took a lot of (high dosage!) painkillers.
My neighbour Kymmie came over, saw the state I was in and simply said:
"Have you had any dairy these last 2 weeks?"
I looked at her, a big fat question mark on my forehead! "What has dairy got to
do with it?"
Apparently she had found that if she ate cheese, milk or yogurts the week before and during her monthlies she was in a lot more pain than if she didn't.
I tried it, and low and behold the pain was reduced by 80%! I was amazed!
Since then I always try and cut out dairy products and fish as this also causes the bad cramps.
Eating less salt and refined sugar also helps but I find this a lot harder to cut out as I sometimes get very bad cravings for salt and sugar :/

Good things to replace the milk with is Goat's milk (yummy!) and try and eat less cheese (not always possible!)
Love, Talisha x
